Ham, ham sandwiches, and sausages could be banned for being “offensive” if Andy Dinham, professor of faith and public policy at Goldsmiths, University of London, and CoExist House have their way.
According to Dinham, “It would be good etiquette to avoid heating up foods that might be prohibited for people of other faiths. The microwaves example is a good one.”
The “offense” comes from different workers potentially having different religions from one another.
CoExist House, a public interfaith group, is pushing for the change and say “that employers should consider worker’s religions before allowing ham sandwiches placed in the fridge alongside other products.”

They come to our countries, let them tolerate OUR traditions and not the reverse. If they don't like it here they have plenty of other options.
