Data Suggests Traffic on Reddit Actually Increased During “Blackout”

Despite dozens of subreddits going private to protest the firing of Victoria Taylor, early data suggests that traffic on Reddit.com actually increased instead of decreasing.

Hundreds of thousands of Redditors took exception to the abrupt dismissal of Ms. Taylor, a visible member of the Reddit community who helped set up and conduct interviews on Reddit, called “Ask Me Anything.” Thousands said they were looking for another website to frequent.
