College Poster: If Two People are Drunk and Have Sex, the Man is Always Responsible for Rape

This poster is making the rounds on social media and, through research, it appears to come from Coastal Carolina University:
As it outlines, two people are drunk, one a man and one a woman. They both hook up, but the man is arrested for rape because drunk women cannot consent.

The hypocrisy is so blatant that I won’t bother commenting on it, but I do have to wonder how anyone in this world could have such a twisted mindset to push this out and not realize the stunning double standard.

  1. I dunno, I think this one might have been intentional. It clearly sends the message to guys that hey, if you have sex while drunk you might *technically* be a rape victim, but you'll still be the one going to jail. Fair? Hell no. Accurate? Hell yes.

    This is an unfortunate truth young men need to be warned about.
